Been going through a serious case of writer's block for my story Hurts. But my brain hasn't been entirely off it;s imagination duties. Through the lack of content for Hurts, I've been brain storming on a new story.
The genres have been over-exposed in recent years but that isn't why I'm thinking about the story. The genres of fantasy and dystopian futures have been a great interest since I diversified my reading way back when. Now, I have the story forming and it feels worth a shot.

The story; so far known as VW; where the vampires and wolves won't sink their teeth, is about a world much like Earth where hybrid beings rule over humans because the latter tried to kill them off. It centres on a few characters who, as is the norm of most novels; hold the traits of the interests of the world. Meaning they're powerful in status and physical attributes and targeting a player who proves to be an interesting challenge for them.
I'm a fan of not-so-happy endings and this story has the feel of a not-so-happy ending but...who knows where it will go. I once wrote a story thinking couple A would end the novel together only for couple B to prove more formidable kind of like Derek and Meredith on Grey's Anatomy or Jacob and Bella in Twilight.
